Tomorrow marks 25 weeks...or 6 months and 1 week. (WHY must they count in weeks?) I have a hard enough time remembering my name now-a-days and they expect me to divide numbers in my head? Anyways...We had our 6 month appointment today and all was well - heartbeat was good - measurements were good...so we're still on track for an April 21st due date. Baby Girl W is doing well...moving (some might say dancing!) around like the little super-star she'll be. She seems to be most active around 9:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. I think she's a tad bit stubborn (SO not my fault) because everytime I go to have Brandon feel her move she stops; so we may already have a tiny little attitude. Yes, totally my kid - even in utero.

On a side note - a big CONGRATS to Mark and Kristin Olmstead on the arrival of Alexis Claire on December 27th. Also, warm pregnany wishes to Nick and Megan Hague who are expecting their 1st baby next August!!
We made some considerable progress on the nursery this weekend. Notice how I started this paragraph with "we" and now notice how I'll not mention my name again....I was the supervisor in case anyone was wondering. Brandon and Matt started installing the flooring in the nursery, which so-far looks great. Brandon and his dad pulled the carpet in the nursery over the Holiday's as Mr. Daddy to be decided he wanted hard-wood/laminate flooring vs. carpet. So....that's what were doing. It's a darker cherry color, so it should look splendid with our nursery furniture which should be here on Friday!!
I FINALLY found some crib bedding that I like and I received an email from the store that they will be shipping it this week. I have fallen in love with this little store - which is located in California. Here is their website it is TOO cute: http://www.laylagrace.com/. And here is a picture of the bedding:

This bedding helps set the tone for the whole room....luckily we received some gift cards from my mom for Christmas to Suite Dreams, so those will help us finish off the room (decoration-wise). I'm trying to convince the husband to let me hang a chandalier in the nursery, but he says it's not "practical". What? Not Practical? I completely disagree. This discussion is SO not over.

For Chr
istmas, Brandon and I bought eachother a new camera. It's all fancy-schmancy and I need to take the time to figure out how to work it! It has been initiated by multiple pictures of our 1st baby - Kinnick. Who, for the many of you that have asked - is adjusting quite well to all of this new "stuff" at our house...but we'll see how he adjusts to being Baby # 2. We'll see... :)

Oh, and I HAVE to post this picture as I'm pretty sure that I found the most BEAUTIFUL Diaper Bag...EVER. Plus, what dad doesn't look SWEET carrying a damask patterned diaper bag?! He's going to LOVE IT and quite possibly win the hippest dad of the year award when the paparazzi snaps a picture of him carrying it.

On a side note - a big CONGRATS to Mark and Kristin Olmstead on the arrival of Alexis Claire on December 27th. Also, warm pregnany wishes to Nick and Megan Hague who are expecting their 1st baby next August!!
