6 1/2 Weeks

We FINALLY caught a smile on camera! Gabby is starting to smile more and more, which is so incredibly neat. It's fun to watch her as she looks at new things, however her forever favorite thing (BFF) is still the ceiling fan!



She has started reaching out her hands for things, I first noticed this when I put her in the carseat and she reached for the toys that dangle down from the carrier. She also is starting to feel around and touch different textures. Brandon had on a shirt one night that was the Under Armour Fabric (sorry, don't know the technical name) and she just felt it over and over..she would rub her hand over it and then grab at it.



She has started sleeping 5-6 hour stretches at night. Whooo Hooo! I was hesitant to type that as I don't want to jinx anything.



Today she had a playdate with her cousin, Ryker while Aunt Robyn got her cast on. It was fun! I was a little nervous at first thinking I was personally responsible for an almost 8 month old and an almost 7 week old...., but I'm happy to say we all survived. All limbs are still attached on both babies and minimal tears were shed. All in all, it was a good day!
